When your treatment is complete, ask us about retainer. Retainers are custom-made using the same state-of-the-art technology as clear aligners.
When orthodontic treatment has been completed, retainers are necessary to maintain that new, beautiful smile. Retainers are a very important part of the process as they ensure that all that you went through in the teeth straightening process will be supported.
Following orthodontic treatment, teeth are not yet fully stabilized in their new position, because it takes time for the bone and ligaments surrounding the teeth to hold them securely in place. Teeth have a tendency to shift back into their original position so a retainer will be used to help the teeth settle into their new location.
Clear retainers are relatively new and is one that we highly recommend to our patients who have gone through the teeth straightening process.
